She is currently a faculty member at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Çukurova University. Res. Asst. Dr. Ayşe Duygu Tanrıverdi's main research interests are political history, Ottoman diplomacy, the Middle East and Islamism. She got her M.A. on the topic of "Food Economy," Competitive Strategy of Enterprises in Milk Production Sector in Turkey" and Ph.D. on the topic of " Ruling Experience of Anti-System Parties: The Case of the Justice and Development Party " after graduated from B.A. program of Political Science and Public Administration.
